UFC welterweight Ian Garry has offered his insights and a prediction for the potential clash between Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev.
“I`m definitely going to be there to witness it live,” Garry stated in an interview with Sports Illustrated. “Watching a fight in person provides a completely different experience than on television. Stylistically, this would be an incredible contest. Islam is an incredibly well-rounded fighter who consistently evolves, and the same can be said for Jack. However, I sense that the size differential will be a crucial factor. Della Maddalena has previously struggled with making the lightweight limit, and I honestly believe he possesses the ability to step in and secure a knockout victory against Islam.” The Irish fighter concluded.
